Northamptonshire Moth Recording Software

This software is a Database Package that offers the ability to enter, edit, store, search and output moth records.
It includes a full database of British Macro Moths and a database of Sites in Northamptonshire. It is aimed at recording Northamptonshire moth records, but could just as easily be use for recording moth records from anywhere in the UK.
Each year Northamptonshire Recorders can send a copy of the Database Package to Jeff Blincow instead of sending written records to John Ward. Jeff Blincow will combine all records from all recorders into one database that John Ward can use.

This software only runs using Microsoft Access. It was written using Microsoft Access Version 2000.
There is a single file called NMRecorder.MDB that includes the databases and forms etc. Backup is simply a case of making a copy of this file.

I suggest that users practice beforehand with the Demo before beginning to enter records.
Warning: When running NMRecoder.MDB for the first time, you must have entered some records BEFORE you select Edit Records from the Main Menu.

The Development stage is now complete. The package includes a database of all macro moths and 293 sites in Northamptonshire.
