Resident. Distribution and Abundance: Common.
Primary Habitat: Grassland.
Flight Period: Single
brooded in May and June.
Observations: In
common with most other day flying moths this species is
under recorded. Current sites include old railway lines,
disused quarries, meadows and waysides where trefoils and
clovers are plentiful. Undiscovered colonies of the moth
are likely to be found in similar sites throughout the
county.
