Primary Habitat: Woodland.
Flight Period: Single
brooded from October to April.
Observations: The
moth is generally seen more commonly feeding at natural
attractants than at light. Some thirty examples were
observed on 17 October 1987 on ivy bloom on the edge of
Glendon Wood. The species was also numerous on ripe yew
berries at Barton Seagrave on the same night. The flight
period at the Pitsford Water light traps in 2005 covered
eight months of the year, the species being seen from
January to April and again from September to December.
