  Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Fairly common.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in September and October.

Observations: Returns from my own garden m.v. light trap in Kettering show an annual average of seven moths over the last decade. In September 1970 several moths were observed feeding at over ripe blackberries near to the site of the medieval village of Mallows Cotton.
