| Status: Resident. Distribution
and Abundance: Fairly common.
Primary Habitat: Waste
ground.
Flight Period: Single
brooded in June and July.
Observations: Although I have recorded the moth at light
within the county in seven of the ten years to 2010 it
has always been in small numbers. It is much more common
on the flowery limestone grassland of Collyweston Quarry
with seven coming to light on 4 July 1987.
L.O.N.: 1907. Many
localities. Common at flowers of S. inflata, etc.
