Observations:  There is an entry for this species on the 1882 list of "The Lepidoptera of Northamptonshire," by Wm. Hull & H. F. Tomalin. No specific date or locality is given but the list is of butterflies and moths that have occurred in the vicinity of Northampton. The moth also features on the V.C.H., presumably on the strength of this entry.
