  Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Fairly common.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Single brooded from May to July.

Observations: I have seen full-grown caterpillars feeding on a variety of low plants at Collyweston Quarry on a number of occasions. This is one of the best sites in the county for the moth.

L.O.N.: Undated. Barnwell, Near Kettering. Not common.
