  Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Fairly common.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Observations: This species seems to be rather more plentiful in the south of the county. The most commonly that I have seen it in Northants was on 6 June 1992 in Hazelborough Forest when seventeen examples were taken at m.v. light.
