Distribution and Abundance: Rare.

Records: 12 October 2006 Greatworth (T. Stokes), October 1963 Peterborough (P. Gent) and 5 October 1946 Wellingborough (H. Buckler).

Observations: The Greatworth moth was probably the high point of the record 2006 moth migration to Northamptonshire. My recollection on the Peterborough moth is that the name of the original recorder was unknown and that Peter Gent had confirmed the identification and later passed the record on to me.
