|Small Yellow Wave Hydrelia flammeolaria|
Distribution and Abundance: Fairly common.
Primary Habitat: Woodland.
Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.
Observations: Although present at Fineshade, the moth was not taken in the Rothamsted light trap running in the woodland for eight years during the 1990s. Generally I have seen the moth more by disturbing it from bushes than at light in the county.
