Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Double brooded from May to September.

Observations: The caterpillar was very common in September 1992 feeding on the flowers of ragwort in a set aside field bordering Weekley Hall Wood.

L.O.N.: 1907. Several localities. Rather common.
