| Status:
Resident. Distribution and Abundance: Local.

brooded in May and June.
Localities: Hazelborough
Forest, Pitsford Reservoir, Boughton Park and Bedford
Purlieus.
Observations: Although
the incidence of an occasional partial second brood is
mentioned in literature I have been unable to find any
record of its occurrence in the county. On 15 June 2002
nine examples of the moth were attracted to light at
Bedford Purlieus. Despite much recording at the site this
is the first time that the species has been found there.
