  Status:  Resident. 

Distribution and Abundance:  Common.

Primary Habitat:  Woodland.

Flight Period:  Single brooded from October into December.

Observations: The moth can be very common in woodland as on 7 November 1994 at Geddington Chase when fifty were taken in m.v. light traps left overnight. This catch included only four females reflecting the predominance of males at light. Returns from the static Pitsford Water light traps for the ten years to 2009 show an annual average of 93 moths with the main flight occurring in November.
