  Lunar Hornet Moth Sesia bembeciformis

Primary Habitat:  Wetland.

Flight Period:  Single brooded from June to August.

Localities: Yardley Chase, Pitsford Reservoir, Deenethorpe Airfield and Easton Hornstocks.

The moths were resting very conspicuously in the sun on the trunk of one of the last sallows to be searched.
